Rebel Homemaker pdf
There's a book that is currently my new favorite book.
I was contacted recently by Rebel Homemaker, a fellow blogger and book author Drew Barrymore had found on the internet. She knew I liked her book " Wildflower " (which I absolutely do) and she wanted to share something with me that she thought I would enjoy.
And enjoy it I did!
I do not want to post many book reviews on this blog, but let me just say that if you are looking for an inspiring book about how to make your house a home (that is in order, but with some wiggle room), this book is for you.
It isn't an *easy* book to read, even though it is written in Australian English which I have no problems with. It isn't an *easy* book to follow along because there are recipes for everything she talks about and you want to cook them ALL.
The book has part autobiography, part how-to book, all business!! She takes you through her journey of how she became a homemaker, the exciting parts and the not so exciting ones. There are quotes throughout book, but they are very brief so you don't feel overwhelmed with book text.
There are TONS of pictures! Pictures of rooms, pictures of her family/friends, pictures that show what it is like to be an Australian housewife! The book is very well put together and it is easy to read.
This book is what all the other homemaking books should strive for. I am not saying that they aren't good, because there are some very helpful ones out there, but this book takes the cake (or pie in this case).
If you are looking for book that isn't full of fluff and endless pages of book text, this book is for you. It even includes recipes throughout book!

Don't be afraid when you pick up book because it might seem like it is only cookbook. There are some great recipes in book (and they're not just desserts) but there is so much book text to it!
